TESTIMONIAL FROM A CLIENT
Thanks to the AIM Mentoring Program, I was able
to begin and have successfully operated a small
transcription company servicing three clinics with limited
start-up monies. The quality of the work by the MTs I
hired from the AIM Program is second-to-none to other
newbies I've encountered in the industry! The
graduates of this program whom I have hired are very
well-rounded MTs who are able to produce quality
work while offering outstanding turnaround time. They
have experience in researching terms they have not
encountered and are always eager to help on all
accounts. Again, many thanks to the AIM Program, and
their entire staff team for a splendid job of turning out
quality MTs to the industry! ~Cenla Transcription, LLC
TESTIMONIALS FROM CURRENT/FORMER INTERNS
There are two sayings that come to mind when I think about the AIM Program. One of them being "Good things come to those who wait," and the second one being "Patience is a virtue." I can still remember the night that I came across your website. I was very skeptical, but my gut instinct told me to take a risk. Your mentor program has given me more knowledge and insight than I ever received in the medical transcription training that I paid over $1000 dollars for. For those people who are looking at your website and thinking, "$129 -- That is crazy!" -- Well they better think again! Let me tell you, that has been the best $129 investment I ever made! Your mentoring program has given me the opportunity to grow and succeed. You have given me the tools necessary to fulfill a career that I enjoy and love. Your feedback on my reports has helped me to understand and correct my errors. and last but not least, you have a wonderful mentoring and quality assurance team (especially Dawn!). Throughout my training you and your staff have had so much patience and understanding with me. I want you to know that I appreciate everything that you have done for me. I took a risk on you, and you took a risk on me -- and forever grateful I will be! ~ Peggy
I have so very, very much to learn. There is no way I could have stepped into a job with 98% accuracy having only completed my MT training. I attended an excellent school, but I know now that was they offered me was basically just an overview. This program you have is just awesome and I have learned so much just in three days. I look forward to 11 more weeks and then I should be good to go with learning lots more along the way. ~ Elaine
Thanks to the AIM Program, I now have a full-time MT job!! Also, I just wanted to mention how helpful the AIM Program has been for me during my apprenticeship. I feel it has prepared me for what the 'real MT world' is like, and it has given me invaluable tools for performing well in the MT world. The instructions, informational materials, QA'd reports, etc. have been invaluable tools. I really appreciate all the hard work and time the mentors have invested in me as an intern. I would recommend the mentoring program to any 'newbie' out there. ~ Patty
I just wanted to tell you that I did my internship in the AIM Program and thanks to my mentor and it was a wonderful experience. Having a mentor, especially one as patient and caring as mine, made the whole experience very much easier for me. She taught me so much and was always offering helpful suggestions to conserve time and get me ready to go it alone (not to mention correcting my grammar). I would highly recommend the AIM Program to anyone wanting to increase their chances of finding a job as an MT fresh out of school. ~ Erin
I just wanted to let everyone know that I think that the Dawn at the AIM Program is wonderful. She goes out of her way for others all the time. She does a wonderful AIM program....she is very easy going and works hard to make sure that you understand everything and that you don't fall out of the program. She is the first company that actually works with me instead of just saying I did it all wrong. She helps you out ALL the time, it doesn't matter what time of the day it is. I give the AIM Program an A+A+A+A+... ~ Sarah
I have been an intern with Joy at the AIM Program for a month now and she more than goes out of her way for those of us determined to be MTs. She is always nice and helpful and I feel very lucky to be learning from her.
~ Michelle
I just wanted to let everyone know that I think that Jen, a mentor in the AIM Program, is wonderful! She goes out of her way to help you learn and improve. The AIM program gives new MTs like me a chance at getting a job...which I was not having any luck doing before. All the mentoring staff work hard to make sure that you understand everything and that you continuous improve. The AIM Program is the first place where someone worked with me to help me by giving me feedback and encouraging me -- instead of just saying to me, "You did all this wrong." Jen and all the mentors help you out ALL the time, and with Jen it doesn't matter what time of the day or night it is -- she's nearly always available for a question. I give Allstate Transcription an A+++. ~ Tonya
I have worked with the AIM Program Director for several years now. I first met her when she was an Editor with another company. When I found out that she had started her own business I contacted her and inquired about a job. She was very up front with me about her program and pay (I was hired as an MT not intern, which are not paid). She is the most wonderful, patient person that I know. She goes out of her way to help her MTs and interns. She is NEVER condescending to them in any way. She gives reasons and/or examples for her corrections so that the intern knows why they were corrected and can learn from their mistakes. As with most companies, an accuracy of 98% is expected, and this intern will find that out as she proceeds to test with other companies. She will also find out that they are not as relaxed and easygoing as she is. As far as pay, she has ALWAYS paid me according to our contract and it always been on time. If I didn’t have children to support, I would work for Deb no matter what the pay. She is one of the most wonderful, honest people I have met.

I just wanted to check in and say a big THANK YOU to all the staff at the AIM Program! I just found out that I got an 'A' in my advanced medical transcription class and I know that it was because of what I have learned since starting the AIM Program. I have to take a final this week for a class called Human Diseases for the Healthcare Professional and then I will have finished all the required classes for my Advanced Transcription Certificate. I really wasn't sure I had picked the right career when I started these classes, but thanks to the AIM Program staff I honestly feel like I made a good choice and am really beginning to enjoy my work. (Even my husband noticed that I am happier these past few months!) Anyway, just wanted to say THANKS!!!! ~ Melissa
TESTIMONIALS FROM A QA EDITOR
The AIM mentoring program that is very much needed in our industry, and I am pleased to say that I have been a team player for two or three months now! The AIM Program mentors gives people who have gone through some kind of course an opportunity to work on real accounts with real TATs. In addition, she provides MEGA feedback with all kinds of documentation to sites for the interns to read. As editors, we cannogt make anyone do anything. The intern has to WANT to learn more and improve and has to have the capacity of breaking a habit of doing things their way versus the AAMT BOS way. They will do flips backwards just to help someone succeed with multiple second chances. In the real world, if you can't produce an accuracy of 98% and above, you will be terminated. In their defense, they cannot continue to allow a person who is not progressing to fill a slot when they have others begging to get into the program. It seems that everyone here has a clear understanding of the bigger picture ~ producing 98% accurate work to a client so that they can provide the BEST care to the patient - after all, it is the patient whose well-being is at stake here. ~ Carla
