Our Editscript Accounts require:

Computer processor: 500 MHz or higher processor

•

Memory: 512 MB of RAM minimum

•

RAM: Minimum of 10G free on hard drive

Operating System: Windows 2003, XP or Vista 32-bit (64-bit is only compatible if you partition your hard drive)

Word Processing Program: 2003 or 2007

•

The program "Works" must be removed from your computer completely or Editscript will not download/install

•

Sound card (for listening to transcriptions)

•

PC headset (for recording and listening to dictations) with earphones. Speakers are fine for listening to transcriptions

only, but not for transcribing purposes.

Foot pedal (Either a USB or a DB9 will work)

•

Web browser: Internet Explorer 7 preferred with 128-bit encryption (Other browsers such as Mozilla/Firefox, Netscape, Opera,

and Safari are not supported.)

High speed Internet access, i.e. cable modem/DSL preferred (dialup and satellite rarely work for this account)

•

Antivirus software
